Rosewood Veterinary Service has two Australian Cattle Veterinarian BULLCHECK™ Certified veterinarians who are able to perform bull breeding soundness evaluations (BBSE) and certify breeding bulls.
Bull breeding soundness evaluations are performed before the sale of a bull so both the seller and buyer can be confident that the bull is able to perform. It involves a physical examination of a bull, semen evaluation (motility and morphology) and measurement of the scrotal circumference.
We are able to perform semen evaluations on farm, perform in house semen morphology and collect semen for freezing, which is forwarded to Beef Breeding for processing.
