Heartworm Alert

We’ve had a recent run of heartworm positive animals be diagnosed at Rosewood Veterinary Service.

We’d like to remind everyone to keep up with their heartworm prevention on their dogs and cats.

Heartworm is a deadly disease in our beloved pets. The treatment can be costly and dangerous, so we would always prefer to prevent it from occurring.

If your animal isn’t on prevention currently, we are able to perform an in house blood test to check if your animal has heartworm. We are also available to discuss heartworm prevention options.
